Earlier this month, in collaboration with Arts Emerson, we held the Arts & Healing: Bangsokol Virtual Festival as a response to the global crises of 2020. Inspired by Bangsokol: A Requiem for Cambodia — the first major symphonic work to address the traumas of late 1970s Cambodia which acts as a visible memorial for peace honoring all victims of violent conflict — we asked you to join this shared moment of resilience and solidarity by participating in the #ArtsHealing2020 challenge.
THANK YOU to all who shared stories and images of creativity, collaboration and healing. To capture this moment we’ve collated some of your inspiring stories below.
